Humable Model God Gundam Hyper Mode Part 1

Very nice shade of gold

This Humable Model God Gundam Hyper Mode is the second action figure in a set of two which include Gundam RX-78-2 from Banpresto I got quite long time ago. I'm hoping to conclude the review on this prize item set with this God Gundam.

Separation of the different components.
Because of the design, God Gundam has more components included than Gundam RX-78-2.

The head is contained in a "matchbox" to protect its long V-Fin most probably.

All the components of God Gundam.

Articulation range is pretty much the same as Gundam RX-78-2, but the ankle is somewhat deterred from moving much because of the ankle guard.
And very nicely done details for the bottom of the feet as well. ^^

The body unit has ball-type joints for the waist and chest, just like that of Gundam RX-78-2.

Same joint design for the arms as well.
Like the ankle, the elbow can't bend as much as that of Gundam RX-78-2, thanks to the forearm armors. ^^;

The forearm armors can be separated, and there are labels of "L" and "R" printed inside them to help you to differentiate either sides.

The shoulder armors has the same labeling as well.

No transformation for the backpack into the Core Lander mode - the head area of the unit is not included anyway. The body of the unit does rotate a bit to help in certain poses.

The wings are of course expandable.

Very beautifully painted head unit. ^^

While there's some limitation of articulation for this God Gundam, I find the color extremely well done. It's a prize item alright, but the shade of gold used is very beautiful nonetheless, and there's a bit of metallic tone to it as well. All the parts have the same color except the joints, which are made of a different material with a duller gold as the color.

Not as exclusive as the MG Hyper Mode (plated), not as beautiful as MG Hyaku Shiki HD Ver. (which in my opinion, has the best golden color scheme of all Gundam merchandises), but the color has this "right feel" to it which I find really nice. ^^
