DX K-Touch Part 2 [Final]

Final Kamen Ride, Decade!

The second part of my review on DX K-Touch is to show its actual sound and light gimmick. ^^

The display panel - 12 places to press on.

Inserting the Kamen Rider crest-type card.

Inserting the number-type card.

Can be inserted onto the mount rack introduced yesterday, without much purpose really. ^^;

The button in clear plastic on top of the device allows you to eject K-Touch from the mount rack. I reckon it's in clear because there's no such button on the actual henshin device in the TV series.

2 battery hatches on the left and right side of the device.
Quite a nice design to equally distribute the weight of the batteries I think.

Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) to work.

The switch at the bottom of the device.

Here are a few videos I took that show the various gimmicks of DX K-Touch:

Video 1: Basic on and off - Different sound and light effects when the card is inserted into the device, or being pulled out from it.

Video clip is from Youtube. Follow this link to the website if you can't see anything.

Video 2: Light gimmick without any card - Each button has special light gimmick even if there's no card inside the device.

Can you identify the pattern? ^^

Video 3: K-Touch with number-type card - basics - Pressing on each number triggers a not-so mechanical but very Japanese-style pronunciation of the numbers in English ("Fy-bu", "Eit-to"). I think such sound effect in "Kamen Rider Ryuki" and "Kamen Rider Kabuto" are much cooler. ^^

Also, only certain combination of numbers will give you special sound effects, as you will see in the next video. Other combo, like 1-8-2-0, 3-7-5, 9-3-4-4 and so on are void of any gimmick.

Video 4: K-Touch with number-type card - Kamen Rider effects - "Dialing" the numbers corresponding to the year of a certain Kamen Rider series, from 2000 to 2009 will give you the sound effect of that Kamen Rider series. Extended press on the number 0 to 9 will give you the same effect as well.

All the combination:
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 0 + Trigger/ Long 0 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Kuuga
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 1 + Trigger/ Long 1 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Agito
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 2 + Trigger/ Long 2 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Ryuki
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 3 + Trigger/ Long 3 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Faiz
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 4 + Trigger/ Long 4 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Blade
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 5 + Trigger/ Long 5 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Hibiki
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 6 + Trigger/ Long 6 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Kabuto
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 7 + Trigger/ Long 7 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Den-O
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 8 + Trigger/ Long 8 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Kiva
- 2 + 0 + 0 + 9 + Trigger/ Long 9 + Trigger → Kamen Rider Decade

Actually it's more like "Kuu-Kuu-Kuu-Ga", "Den-Den-Den-O", or "Ki-Ki-Ki-Ba", which is something I find very amusing XD

Video 5: K-Touch with Kamen Rider crest-type card - basics - Pressing on the crest of each Kamen Rider series triggers the name of each series. Pressing the 9 crests from Kuuga to Den-O will trigger a unique light and sound effect.

Video clip is from Youtube. Follow this link to the website if you can't see anything.

"F" is the trigger key, Kamen Rider Decade's crest is the static key that will generate "Final Kamen Ride, Decade!", sort of the "ultimate" effect key. "C" is the cancel key that will give you the restart sound and light effect.

Video 6: K-Touch with Kamen Rider crest-type card - Kamen Ride effects - Pressing on the crest of each Kamen Rider series and the "F" key will give you the Kamen Ride effect. The sound effect is of course not the same, but there's no difference in terms of the lighting.

Video clip is from Youtube. Follow this link to the website if you can't see anything.

All the combination:
- Kuuga + F → Kamen Ride Ultimate
- Agito + F → Kamen Ride Shining
- Ryuki + F → Kamen Ride Survive
- Faiz + F → Kamen Ride Blaster
- Blade + F → Kamen Ride King
- Hibiki + F → Kamen Ride Armed
- Kabuto + F → Kamen Ride Hyper
- Den-O + F → Kamen Ride Liner
- Kiva + F → Kamen Ride Emperor
- Decade → Final Kamen Ride Decade

Decade is the only crest that can generate the Kamen Ride effect without the need to press the "F" key. Den-O's Kamen Ride sound effect sounds more like "Rider" than "Liner" to me XD

Video 7: K-Touch with Kamen Rider crest-type card - Miscellaneous - Some other effects to try on.

Video clip is from Youtube. Follow this link to the website if you can't see anything.

Extended press on each crest will generate the "3-2-1" sound and light effect. Also, pressing the 9 crest in whichever order will generate the same light and sound effect as seen in Video 5.

The best part about pressing the 9 crests is, the device will remember the previous crest you pressed and show the combined light-up effect in between the pauses accurately.

Also, avid Kamen Rider fans will notice that I didn't press the Kamen Rider crests in their correct order, which can be seen in the video clip of Kamen Rider Decade Complete Form's first henshin I posted yesterday. While it's not shown here, pressing the crests in this proper order will still give you the same sound and light effect as that shown in Video 5 and 7, pressing on Decade's crest after that will pretty much "cancel" that effect and give you "Final Kamen Ride, Decade!" ^^
