Figma Meiya Mitsurugi Part 1

Cutie of the month

A new review on a Figma action figure this time: Meiya Mitsurugi, which was first released in July 2009.

Regarding this character, Meiya Mitsurugi (御剣冥夜), apart from being in a mecha game called "Muv-Luv", I know nil about her really. ^^; But cute girl with katana, can't go wrong with that combo I suppose. XD I do know that there was a figurine being released some time ago by Good Smile Company, with her in a different white combat suit. ^^

Introduction of the figure on the back of the box.

By the way, one of the first few things I noticed about Meiya Mitsurugi is her awesomely awkward hairdo. It's almost like an opened book placed on top of her head XD

Box open.

Instruction on how to swap the option face part shown on one of the ears of the box.

Package content.

Other than the option face part, option hand units and Figma display stand that are common in most other Figma releases, the only accessory included for Meiya is the katana and its sheath.

Box backdrop is a large silver foil.

Straight out of box display.

More images of the figure in the next posting.

Mitsurugi!>.<!!! I'm a big muv luv alt fan. her hair is kinda funny. I wish her hair ribbon bow was more flexible so it wouldn't get in the way of posing. I wonder with all the muv luv alt merchandise coming out these days, if we can expect more muv luv figmas? Now that you have her, interested in more muv luv stuff?
