HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode] Part 7

All the whiteness

More images of the just completed HGUC Unicorn Gundam [Unicorn Mode]. ^^

Closeups on the details:

[Head]

[Body & backpack]

[Waist]

[Left arm & shield]

[Right arm & bazooka]

[Legs]

Looking at the completed model, I'm really glad that I decided to panel line all the details. Without them, most of the line details on all the parts are going to be quite difficult to detect. At the same time, I'm also very relieved that I decided to use Tamiya's Panel Line Accent Color (Gray) on all the white parts because the present result looked pretty dark already. ^^; Using the black type or my usual panel lining method would be overdoing the entire work I suppose, and the details would probably look too exaggerated. ^^;

The assembly is standard for a High Grade kit, with quite a few enjoyable parts highlighted in Part 5 and 6. Even though its overall design is relatively simple when compared to the Destroy Mode, it incorporates a lot of parts in separated colors to minimize the need for paint work. On top of that, the part separation is fantastic in my opinion. ^^ The chest, backpack, legs and forearms are best examples of components on the model kit that incorporated that smart design. They provide line details depicting how the armor pieces on Unicorn Gundam split up and transform, and they are mighty fun to assemble too. ^^

Some action poses from this kit coming up in the next posting. ^^
