Garo Kiwami Damashii Zero Part 3

Silver coolness

More images of Garo Kiwami Damashii Zero after the previous posting. ^^

Closeups on the details:

[Head]

[Body]

[Arms]

[Ginroken]

[Legs]

The sculpt details and color combination make this a really beautiful figure. ^^ Consistent with the quality of the entire Garo Kiwami Damashii series, the elaborate details on Zero's armors are very impressive. The meaning behind all the curves and spirals, layered armor, thorns, sharp edges and blade-like appendages on the armor design is beyond me, but they look really good, which is definitely the more important point. ^^

The head sculpt is the highlight among all the mentioned details I think. I find the sharp appearance, especially its "bared-teeth" look and the two "wolf ears" horns to be very intimidating, which shows how well done the head sculpt is. ^^ The red eyes are very small, but very accurately painted nonetheless.

The color of the figure makes the overall design stands out even more. As mentioned back in Part 1, I like the silver armor design of Zero better than Garo's golden armor set. Silver works better in portraying the sharp look of armor details, and that really shows on this figure. ^^ All the parts look metallic, to certain degree. Unlike the dark golden scheme given to Garo from the same series, the silver color on Zero's armors is of a much brighter tone and does shines. ^^

Apart from the overall silver scheme, one of the minor colors used which I really like on the figure is light metallic blue which can be found on the waist, spinal area and rear skirt armor of the figure. Its application is light and very limited, but it add a sense of coolness to the entire figure in my opinion. ^^

A look at the figure's articulation design and some action poses in the next posting. ^^
